This is a section of a script that Hannah wrote called, Going up. The premise of this short film is a male and female college student ride the same elevator everyday while heading to class and never really notice one another. Soon the main character, Ellie, starts to take note if this stranger whom she sees now everyday. By the end of the short film, they have only briefly spoken once and we the fascination that come over Ellie over Miles. We also take a look on Miles life, which would turn ugly when he finds out that his girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend. At the end of the script, it ties back to the beginning when at when Miles gets on the same elevator as Ellie and asks if she is going down. After witnessing some of his emotional turmoil, she says, “Aren’t we all?” After this moment, they finally introduce themselves to one another and the rest is unknown.
